Let’s announce dates after launch on Monday which will give 2 weeks
before the launch.
We are running a test Meet to Delete in Wellington this Saturday so I
will be back with practical suggestions after that.
More to follow,
sorry to say the launch of Space-X CRS-3 which is taking the Weight of
Information’s Kicksat satellite into orbit has been delayed for a fortnight.
A new launch date has yet to be confirmed and the next available
opportunities are March 30th and April 2nd.
This means that we will have to put back all the Meet to Delete events,
the Launch screening and ground station observations.
Also the Kicksat sprites will now be deployed by timer 16 days after
launch so as not to interfere with the ISS.
The new window for ground station observations of the Kicksat is now
approximately April 15th -> May 6th.
